Light and awareness.
The sun is a symbol of life, because it gives light and, as a consequence, warmth.
Just as the earth represents matter, the light of the sun can be seen as the purest form of consciousness.
Everything living is a highly potentized interplay of matter and light in innumerable generations. And like the complexity has formed over the eons of time in our paradise, it is potentiated in the small again and again anew by the food chain: The simplest cellular organisms transform matter with the power of light into organic substances that are eaten to be eaten and to be eaten.... and so the filigree togetherness of structure and information also grows into you who can read these lines and think about it :D
The year, the course of the sun over many days - spring, summer, autumn and winter, caused by the rotation of the earth around the sun - is the slowest of the three primal rhythms.
